ORGANISERS ANNOUNCE MORE THAN 230,000 TICKETS SOLD FOR WORLD PARA ATHLETICS CHAMPS 2017

On exactly three weeks to go until the start of the World Para Athletics Championships, organisers London 2017 Ltd have announced record sales with more than 230,000 tickets sold. Sales are bigger than all of the previous eight editions of the championships combined and the biggest ever outside of a Paralympic Games.

Sebastian Coe and World Series of Boxing teams caught up in Westminster terrorist attack

LONDON — International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) President Sebastian Coe and members of the British Lionhearts and Italia Thunder boxing teams were among those caught up in a terrorist attack in Westminster here today, where five people have died and at least 40 injured.
